Price management is one of the fundamental processes that impact a company's profitability. Monitoring prices and margins for individual clients, client groups, or product groups, developing attractive group and individual pricing for clients, and most importantly, the ability to respond quickly to market changes without a suitable IT tool is very challenging.
ePrice is an innovative tool for managing a company's pricing policy. In a very simple way, one can create rules and develop price lists, control margins and markups, create and edit sales groups, and many other elements that influence pricing. The ePrice software is designed for efficient integration with external systems used for online and offline sales. With this approach, the pricing rules developed in ePrice can be propagated to external systems. The advantage of this approach is that price management takes place in one tool, and the data about the designated pricing conditions, propagated to all sales channels, are consistent. Once integration is launched, data from ePrice automatically and systematically migrate to external systems. Such pricing management capability is fundamental in the journey to achieving sales in an omnichannel model.
To start working with the ePrice tool, configuration is essential, along with filling in dictionary data and defining the rules by which prices for customers will be determined. Efficient development of rules and managing changes to the defined pricing conditions requires assigning customers to groups in which similar pricing conditions will apply. Regardless of assigning customers to price groups, individual pricing conditions can be defined for each client.
Changes to pricing rules can be prepared during the current conditions. At the right time, it can be implemented, i.e., replace the current rules and, through integration, be made available to external systems at a convenient time. Such a possibility is used, for example, to define price lists for promotional periods.
⚠️ Preamble note: This document primarily focuses on the capabilities and functionalities available to administrators. It showcases the comprehensive range of actions and controls that an admin can exercise. However, it's worth noting that the system is designed with versatility in mind. Tenants, depending on their needs and security protocols, have the flexibility to configure additional user roles. These roles can have varying levels of access, possibly more restrictive than what is detailed here for the admin. Thus, while we present the full spectrum of admin possibilities, remember that other user roles can be tailored to have fewer access rights and permissions.
🗒️ NOTE: In this document, we illustrate the extensive capabilities of the admin role. Other user roles might have limited access and rights.
